The All-America Selections judges fell hard for this pepper, and honestly, so will you. Pretty N Sweet took home the 2015 AAS vegetable award, and the judges were so blown away by its flavor and its good looks that they coined a whole new term for it: "Ornamedible." This compact, multi-colored beauty earns its keep both in garden beds and containers—and the best part? While you're out weeding or watering, you can just snap off a pepper or two for a garden-fresh snack. Lunch doesn't get more convenient than that.

Class: Pepper. Variety: Pretty N Sweet F1. Year: 2015. Breeder: Seeds by Design. Habit: Bushy. Height: 10–24 inches. Days to harvest when sowing seeds: 105 days. Days to harvest when transplanting: 60 days. Fruit: Small, conical, 1–1.5 inches. Flavor: Sweet and mild. Number of fruits per plant: 100 plus—yes, over a hundred little peppers from one plant!

Set these out in full sun, spacing them 12 to 14 inches apart, and water normally—they're not fussy. Dry to normal moisture is all they need.
