Lace Checker Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Lace Checker Stitch:

Work with a multiple of 11 stitches + 6 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 19 sts (11 + 6 + 2 edge sts) and work according to сhart.

The chart shows only Right Side Rows.

On Wrong Side Rows, purl all sts and yo’s. 

The patt rep = 11 sts wide.

Begin with 1 edge st, work patt rep throughout, end with 6 sts after patt rep and 1 edge st.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch

Rows 1, 3 and 5: edge st, * (skpo, yo) 3 times, p5 *; repeat from * to *; (skpo, yo) 3 times, edge st.

Rows 7, 9 and 11: edge st, * p5, (yo, k2tog) 3 times *; repeat from * to *; p6, edge st.

Repeat Rows 1-12 throughout.
