Free Amigurumi Bunny in a Blanket Pattern

Difficulty level: Easy

Using this description, you can crochet a  bunny in a  blanket.

Any acrylic, cotton, or mixed  yarn is suitable for amigurumi.

The author recommends Pexorka. The toy is crocheted very simply and quickly.

The bunny can be made into a keychain using a loop, carabiner, or chain.

Materials and Tools:

  • Yarn Pexorka Children’s Novelty
  • Hook 1.5 mm
  • Toy eyes
  • Stuffing for toys
  • Pendant with carabiner
  • Dry pastel or blush
  • Needle for sewing parts
  • Scissors

Description of crocheting amigurumi bunny in a blanket

Blanket

Blue color:

1 row: 6 sc in KA
2 row: 6 inc (12)
3 row: (sc, inc) x 6 times (18)
4 row: (2 sc, inc) x 6 times (24)
5 row: (3 sc, inc) x 6 times (30)
6-14 rows: 30 sc (9 rows). Do not cut the  thread, bring it forward. Introduce white color.
15 row: back loops only – 30 sc
16-20 rows: 30 sc (5 rows)
21 row: (sc, dec) x 10 times (20)
22 row: 10 dec (10), stuff, cut the thread, tighten the loops

Return to the 15th row and crochet 21 sc in the front loops with blue color. Then crochet in turning rows:
1-3 rows: 1 ch, 20 sc

Then crochet the “corner” of the  blanket, decreasing 1 stitch on both sides. Do not cut the thread.

Edging

In one stitch, crochet – sc, ch, 1 dc, ch, sc; in the next stitch – sl st. Alternate to the end of the row.

1 row: 6 sc in KA
2 row: (sc, inc) x 3 times (9)
3 row: (2 sc, inc) x 3 times (12)
4-8 rows: 12 sc (5 rows)
9 row: join the edges and crochet 5 sc

Assembly:

sew the eyes, embroider the nose, tie a bow on the blanket. Sew the ears, attach the pendant with a carabiner.
